David Worthington - Biography

David Worthington L.M.P.A. is a professional photographer who specialises in Wedding & Portrait photography that is FUN to do and EXCITING to look at.

Many years in professional social photography, have allowed David to develop a keen and instinctive sense of what people want from their photographic session. Whether it is in the hustle and bustle of a happy fun-filled wedding, or on location shooting a special portrait, David's approach has always been about giving each commission an enjoyable time whilst delivering original, exciting and memorable photographs.

David is a qualified member of The Master Photographers' Association, which is recognised as the premier body for those in full time professional photography.

David Worthington is one of only two photographers in the Northwest of the United Kingdom to have one of his wedding photographs published in a book which celebrates the best work over the last 50 years produced by professional photographers. This is indeed a fine achievement as only 50 images were selected from entries sent from around the world.

February 2003. David had three photographs exhibited in Las Vegas, USA as part of the worldwide photographic competition judged by the "Wedding and Portrait Photographers International" - WPPI. This prestigious competition is open to professionals throughout the world and all David's photographs recieved "honourable mentions" in the wedding section. The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers alike and marks David's first sucess on this, the most keenly contested photographic competition on the planet.
